    Kathy Machado.
  • Two Director positions are open and needed. Please contact a Board member if you are interested. The position description is available on our website.
  • Safety: A fence is needed around the pumping station due to children climbing on the station, older teens using the site for parties and drinking and there is a potential for vandalism to surrounding properties. The Water and Sewer Department will be contacted by
    PRESIDENT

    Dan Herchenbach
    847-680-7781

Dan Herchenbach, to bring forward the request for a fence.
  • Levee retaining wall rocks, which provide stabilization, are being thrown into surrounding waters and/or taken by some home owners for personal use. Please help educate your neighbors about the importance of maintaining the quality of the levee.
  • Pond issues: The pond continues to deteriorate, but without the proper funding necessary for repairs, little can be done to restore the pond at this time. The board will continue to meet with the Township regarding restoration of the pond and its drainage system, as well as options available to us at this time.
  • Residents are encouraged to attend the Libertyville Township meetings. Meeting are usually held on the third Thursday of the month at 7:45pm. Please check

    Libertyville Township
    website
    847-816-6800
    township website for details.
  • Filling in the pond and making it a park was presented. However, due to the presence of an existing drainage system, restricting regulations, and cost, this discussion was tabled.
  • Freezing the pond in the winter and making a skating rink was brought forth. This idea will be discussed at future board meetings. If you would like to help with this project, contact a Board member.
  • A request within the neighborhood for youth groups, such as Eagle Scouts, who would be willing to build Purple Martin or bat houses to be placed around the pond.
  • Neighbors are encouraged to visit the Libertyville Township Office at 359 Merrill Court to obtain “Dunks” to help with mosquito control.
  • Libertyville Township has allotted funding for Clark Mosquito Abatement to spray again this year.
  • The NLECA Board has approved additional spraying of North Libertyville Estates to be paid from the NLECA general fund.
