Still seeking neighbors to give a helping hand...
The date for Spring Clean-Up is May 18th. All items must be at the roadside by 6:00am.
Special trucks will pick up Spring Clean-Up items. They will not pick up construction materials, tires, oil/oil drums, paint or large car parts. (Your weekly garbage and recycling will be removed by your regular disposal company. Please keep these containers separate to ensure ease of removal.)
Note: Refrigerators/freezers (doors must be removed), air conditioners cannot be taken unless the Freon is removed by a certified technician and tagged for pick-up.
Mosquito Abatement:
Remember to pick up your dunks this summer from the Township. Help keep the mosquito population down by
removing or treating sources of standing water.
The Township annual budget is still pending. Updates on abatement aid will come as news is available.
Pond Clean Up Day - Volunteers Needed
Pond Maintenance
Over the years, the ground from the edges of the pond has been eroding into the pond itself. The depth of the pond has shrunk. Dan Herchenbach has been working with the Libertyville Township Highway Commissioner to discuss possible measures for dredging of the pond.
The date for the community garage sale is June 23, 24 and 25 (Thurs-Sat). We are partnering with the annual garage sale at Countryside Manor for a larger turnout.
