Dues are $15 per year per household. Thank you to the 46 households who have paid their annual dues.
Are you looking for a way to get involved?
Thank you to everyone who helped their neighbors after the horrible storm. It was wonderful to experience the true sense of community in such frightening times.
Thank you to the Township who helped with tree debris clean-up after the storm.
Mosquito Abatement:
Remember to pick up your dunks from the Township. The Township tracks the number of households to help
determine the need for mosquito abatement.
The Township annual budget granted an additional $7,000 towards mosquito abatement. Clarke will spray a
total of 3 times during the summer months. The first spraying was in June. For information on other dates,
please contact Clarke. Their contact number is 800-942-2555. If you want to be notified, you need to state
your name, address, phone and state that you are a Libertyville Township resident. This will insure you are
notified prior to a spraying.
Pond Clean Up
A special thanks to all who helped with the pond clean-up on May 14th. It is amazing the type of refuse
found in and around the pond.
Thank you to David Kerber for mowing around the pond.
Pond Maintenance
North Libertyville Estates is continuing to look into possible work on the pond as well as the use of algaecide.
The neighborhood picnic will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 1:00-5:00pm at David’s Park (near the intersection of Arlington and Des Plaines). This year there will be a chili cook-off as well as a pie contest! Please contact a Board member to reserve a spot. There will be games for the children and the fire truck will arrive around 3:00pm. Hot dogs, brats and soft drinks will be provided by the association. Please bring a dish to share. This is a BYOB affair, but we ask that NO GLASS be brought to the gathering. If you bring your dogs, please have them on leashes.
