The neighborhood picnic was held on Sunday, September 26, 2010. It was wonderful to meet new neighbors and spend time catching up with the neighbors we already knew.
The Chili Cook-Off was a great success! It was amazing how many different wonderful chili recipes are being made in our community! Congratulations to all for a job well done.
The children had fun playing bags and football. The children enjoyed the fire truck and ambulance visit. A fire was enjoyed to keep warm and roast marshmellows.
Special thanks to all who helped with the picnic set-up and clean-up, provided extra tables and generally were an invaluable help in making the picnic run smoothly.

Thefts: In the early morning hours of October 11th, thieves struck again. Many neighborhood autos were broken into and valuable items were stolen. Please remember to lock your cars and homes. Contact the police if you see any criminal activity.
Connie Fischler: We would like to offer our condolences to the family of Connie Fischler. She was instrumental in working with the Army Corp of Engineers and the County on the levee and sewer projects. Her efforts are greatly appreciated and she will be missed.
